Join the interactive webinar to find out what are online communities, echo chambers, filter bubbles and what could be the cause of radicalisation online. You’ll learn about digital youth work and discuss how could we better reach out to young people!

    – When young people are online, where are they really and what are they up to?
Young people are self-organising in communities often out of reach for traditional youth work. Therefore the webinar „Young People and Youth Workers in Online Communities“ aims to shed light on how young people interact online and look into pathways to reach them in those online spaces. Furthermore the webinar will explore tools of digital youth work for online community work.

The webinar is using many interactive methods and because of this, we can only accept 25 participants. The webinar participants are expected to contribute to the discussions and engage actively.

The webinar is organised by SALTO Participation and Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) and is co-funded by the National Agencies from Iceland, Bulgaria, Greece, Estonia, Slovakia, Italy, Lithuania and Poland. The training is part of a TCA (Transnational Cooperation Activities) project „Media and Information Literacy Training Programme“ coordinated by SALTO PI.
